Terms and Conditions

| You have expectations of us and we have expectations of you. This page will let you know a little more about how we conduct business and what you can expect on your visit to Bighorn Mountain Lodge. |

Payment
|
|
Payment is accepted in cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
Regardless of payment type, a valid credit card is required at check-in to be charged for incidentals or in case of damages or loss.

|
Minimum Stay Requirements
|
|
Scottish Festival, Holidays and other Special Events: 2-3 night minimum.

|
Reservation Policy
|
|

Reservations are made on a first come-first served basis. Online and condo reservations must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. All other reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or prepaid in full at least two weeks prior the reservation arrival date. Personal checks are not accepted at check-in. Contact the manager directly for alternatives when a valid credit card is not available. A confirmation will be emailed and guests are responsible for verifying the accuracy of dates and other details. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved. A change in registered name, dates or number of persons must be arranged in advance. A change fee of up to $50 per day may be charged for changes to reservations once they have been booked.

Cancellation Policy
|
|

Cancelled Reservations or shortened stays may be charged a change fee of up to $50 per day or 25% of the reservation total, whichever is greater. Following check-in, no refund will be given for early departure. Rescheduling may not be available for late arrival.

Agency Quotes
|
|
Call for rates & availability. Discounts or specials apply to direct bookings only and are limited to one discount per booking. Weekday specials are available with a 2-night minimum from September through May. Call for availability.

General Lodging Policy
|
|
The Registered Guest is responsible for room contents, occupants, and visitors.
At registration, guests provide a signed agreement to the smoke-free, pet-free, visitor and all other policies described herein. Driver's license and valid credit card are required.
We respond to policy violations with immediate action, up to and including eviction and an additional room charge of $250, plus cleaning costs.

Check-in time
|
|
Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Early check-in (prior to 3:00 p.m.) can be arranged at a partial day rate, not less than 50% of the daily room rate. If you plan to arrive early or late, please notify us as far in advance as possible and make special arrangements. Rooms cannot be held past 10:00 a.m. of the day following scheduled arrival unless notice is received.

Check-out time
|
|
Checkout time is 10:00 a.m. If you would like to check out late you must make special arrangements. If you have not made special arrangements or checked out by 11:00 a.m. you will be charged for another day. Extended stays past 11:00 a.m. can be arranged at a partial day rate determined by the length of the stay, but not less than 50% of the daily room rate.

Housekeeping
|
|
Housekeeping services the rooms daily and includes fresh towels, coffee and trash removal. Linens are changed every third day. Other housekeeping services can be arranged at 15% of room rate.

|
Day Visitors
|
|
Day Visitors of our registered guests are permitted on a limited basis. Please contact the Front Desk for information and pre-registration of a visitor. The swimming pool, hot tub and other facilities are reserved for the use and enjoyment of our registered Guests. Day visitors can use these facilities by paying the appropriate daily use fee.

Keys
|
|
A lock change fee of up to $30 may be assessed for lost keys or those not returned at checkout.

|
Smoking Policy
|
|
All buildings, the deck, playground, and the pool area are designated non-smoking areas. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged for smoking in any of these areas. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside of the buildings.

|
Pet Policy
|
|
No pets are allowed in any room. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged for any pet inside any building. Pets are NOT allowed in the pool area. All pets on the property must be on a leash and under the full control of an adult. All pet residue must be removed from the premises. Guide animals are not considered pets and can be accommodated, per ADA requirements.

Problem resolution
|
|
Management must be given the opportunity to correct a problem or reservation discrepancy, before a credit is issued. Credits must be used within 1 year of the date issued.
This property is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents nor injury to guests or for loss of money or valuables of any kind.
